For the Foodies | 5th Annual Choice Eats

NYC food lovers descended on the 5th Annual Choice Eats at the 69th armory.
This wonderous foodie event featured hand-picked restaurants courtesy of the Village Voice. Not only was the food plentiful there were drinks to wash everything down with.  From many of the liquor brands represented including Stella and Barefoot. Choice Eats offered enough food diversity to satisfy any palette from Jollof rice, shrimp rolls, jerk chicken, barbecue bacon, and sandwiches.
When asked about taking part of Choice Eat the restaurants on hand all beamed at the chance to showcase their dishes. Some even debuting new dishes just for the event.
No food event is complete without dessert. My favorite had to be the bourbon chocolate cake from Blue Stove followed by the peanut butter and jelly ice cream.
Check out the pictures below of some of my other favorites of the night. If you’re sad you missed choice eats take a little comfort in knowing they return in April with a choice eats dedicated to food trucks.
