NEW YORK GIANTS’ MARVIN AUSTIN HOSTS Monday Night Football Experience To Benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Monday night football Jets vs the Dolphins. In the first quarter Darrelle Revis intercepted Matt Moore for 100 yards with a play like that the tone of the game was set. The Jets went on to beat the Dolphins in a crushing 24 -4 victory. While the Jets played their heart out 2011 NFL 2nd round draft pick Marvin Austin of the New York Giants hosted the Monday Night Football Experience at the Samsung Experience to raise funds for and awareness about breast cancer research. Presented by TR Luxury Group, The Brewer Group, Inc., and, offers the chance to unite New York sports enthusiasts and breast cancer advocates. I got a chance to speak with Marvin during the course of the evening and asked him a few questions.

When did you know you wanted to play football professionally? “14” With that realization Marvin set to train and work hard at honing his skill. By the time he reached college he was determined to make it to the NFL.

His thoughts on breast cancer awareness? “Men should help with awareness.” “A lot of African-American women are affected by breast cancer we need to build awareness and we need women to get mammograms.” “Early detection.”

How do you want to be remembered? “Working hard and making the plays that help my team win.”
